HOCKLEY DARK PIZZA DOUGH

Created for bread machine enthusiasts by Barb Russell, Orangeville, ON

 1 cup warm Hockley Dark 

1 tablespoon shortening 

1 tablespoon white sugar 

1 teaspoon coarse ground salt 

2 3⁄4 cups all-pupose white flour 

1 1⁄4 teaspoon yeast

Place all six ingredients in the order listed above (starting with the Hockley Dark) into the bread pan. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for using the dough setting. Once complete, remove dough from bread pan, cover with a clean tea towel, and let rise for two to four hours. Roll and shape dough into a round. Garnish with your favourite sauce, cheese, and toppings.
